The Tripolina is one folding chair made out of wood, metal and woven.
The Tripolina chair was introduced to the public at the International Fair of Saint Louis in the 1904 by Joseph Fendy, who had patented the design in 1877. The original author of the chair is in reality anonymous. One of the first known uses of the Tripolina chair has been as a support for the English troops in the war campaigns of the 19th Century.
